JCAF #7 was the first subnational dialogue convened to promote Siak’s vision and identify opportunities for partnership to support Green Siak’s commitment.
Two panels discussed the regulatory framework from planning and financing and supply chain commitment and contribution to support Siak Government. The meeting recommended four takeaways: (1) Govt Siak remains committed to supporting the national target of SDGs and Low Carbon Development and being one of the district models of sustainable district (2) The partnership is urgently needed, particularly from financing and technical support, to enable Siak to achieve national target (3) Suggest to hold strategic dialogue with BPDLH, Kemendagri, Ministry of Finance (4) The need to prepare a regulatory framework, financing support scheme, governance system, and market penetration. JCAF 7 was attended by 144 participants from both national, regional and global.
