This webinar discussed the landscape finance system as a whole as well as gaps in implementation and opportunities to strengthen the approach to benefit landscape scale regeneration. A panel of landscape finance experts shared examples of their experiences supporting local actors to build pipelines of investable landscape projects and drive commercial and non-commercial funding towards landscape activities. The webinar concluded with participants and panelists discussing opportunities and challenges for collaboration to meet the rising demand for place-based funding that achieves interlinked development, environmental and economic objectives. The webinar resulted in eleven areas for action across three broad thematic areas to accelerate the mobilization of financing to landscapes.
