SourceUp’s Landscape Reporting Explorer

Overview

Given the large number of mandatory and voluntary reporting frameworks that companies are faced with, SourceUp sought to simplify the task by creating a reporting tool that enables companies to easily identify and compare indicators and metrics from different key frameworks to report on landscape engagement.

SourceUp worked with Schuttelaar & Partners to conduct a detailed evaluation of the mandatory and voluntary reporting frameworks that are most relevant for agri-commodity sourcing companies (coffee sector in particular), with an in-depth evaluation on their suitability for reporting on engagement in landscape initiatives.  Following the evaluation, the results were used to create SourceUp’s Landscape Reporting Explorer.

What is SourceUp’s Landscape Reporting Explorer?

SourceUp’s Landscape Reporting Explorer enables companies and landscape initiative facilitators to browse and compare 11 key sustainability frameworks to determine how to measure and report impact data from landscape initiatives.

The multi-use tool features search functions to identify the most recurring indicators and metrics for sustainability themes such as climate, biodiversity, water (and many more), including the suitability of each indicator to report on engagement in landscape initiatives

Who is SourceUp’s Landscape Reporting Explorer for?

This tool is primarily for coffee companies and landscape initiative facilitators who need to measure and report on the results of a landscape initiative. It can also be used by companies in other sectors because the sustainability frameworks included in the tool are relevant for multiple sectors.
