The Jurisdiction Collective Action Forum convened “The Post-2021 UN Food Systems Summit: An Indonesia Perspective” dialogue, jointly proposed by IPMI International Business School through the IPMI Case Centre and PISAGRO and supported by JCAF. The importance of the Jurisdictional Approach in providing the solution to balanced economic growth, improved community welfare, and environmental protection in the cocoa sectors was highlighted. Also, a summary of the “Decade of Progress in Reducing Commodity Driven Deforestation in Indonesia and Malaysia” report was shared.
The discussion concluded with critical takeaways highlighting the urgent need to foster more collaboration, innovation, exchange learnings, jurisdiction spatial planning, and, most importantly, green investment to support food security and economic growth in support of halting climate change.
