On May 15, 2026, the Rural Development Committee of the Microregion of Chapadinha (CDR) held its 2nd annual Assembly in the municipality of Buriti, bringing together representatives of partner institutions, municipal managers, and members of territorial governance to discuss strategic agendas aimed at strengthening rural development in the region.
The meeting was attended by representatives of municipal departments, educational institutions, partner organizations and entities that support rural development, promoting dialogue and articulation between the different actors involved in territorial actions. Among the topics discussed were the internal organization of the CDR, the revision of the Bylaws, the dissemination of strategic agendas and the strengthening of integrated actions in the territory.
During the program, the Chapadinha Sustainable 2050 Strategy was presented, an initiative structured in the Productive, Socioeconomic, Environmental and Governance axes, in addition to the SourceUp Platform, a tool aimed at articulating, monitoring and visibility of the actions developed in the territory. The proposal reinforces the importance of collaborative planning and institutional participation to achieve long-term regional development goals.
Another highlight of the Assembly was the debate on the updating of the CDR’s Bylaws, considering the expansion of the territorial cut with the inclusion of new municipalities and the strengthening of the Committee’s organizational structure. Referrals aimed at the continuity of strategic actions and the strengthening of institutional partnerships were also aligned.
The Assembly reinforced the role of the CDR as a space for governance and regional articulation, consolidating the collective commitment to sustainable development, the strengthening of family farming and the construction of integrated strategies for the territory.
