SourceUp Compact Manual

SourceUp is a new market mechanism that aims to lift the base sustainability level of agricultural landscapes while enabling sourcing in line with sustainability commitments at scale and progressing towards the Sustainable Development Goals. This document is a practical guide of the SourceUp policy and intends to help Compact initiators / secretariats to report through SourceUp, in their journey to become a Verified Sourcing Area.

In this document, Compact stakeholders will find the evidence that needs be submitted
to reach the different progress levels, examples of methodologies, as well as best
practices. It will be continuously completed and improved as more cases and
experiences from the ground are included. The content of this manual will be gradually
replaced by a step-by-step guidance directly on SourceUp.
