Commodity, Conservation, and Community Collaboration: Siak, Riau, Jurisdictional Investment Outlook 2022

The report aims to promote investment opportunities that will support Siak district in Riau, Indonesia to achieve its green vision. It presents key information about Siak, a peat-rich district and a large producer of palm oil, and its sustainability-linked targets.

Investment opportunities presented include sustainable palm oil as well as sustainable peat management through paludiculture and peat-friendly production of pineapple, sago, bee honey, snakehead fish, and ecotourism.

The report was launched in a dialogue organised by Indonesia’s District Governments Association (Apkasi), Indonesia’s Sustainable Districts Association Lingkar Temu Kabupaten Lestari (LTKL), and partners in July 2022.
