CocoaAction Brasil Impact Report 2018-2022

This report aims to assess the CocoaAction Brazil’s impacts among the different segments of the cocoa chain, and to gather an understanding of its progress and evolution over recent years. This report presents the different perceptions regarding CocoaAction Brasil’s performance over the last 5 years (2018 to 2022) through qualitative and quantitative data collected in interviews with relevant stakeholders and also through an online survey with members and partners of the initiative, in order to evaluate its activities, impacts and contributions to the development of the cocoa sector in Brazil.

This report uses information obtained from different stakeholders of the Brazilian cocoa chain, including entities, industry, representatives of the private and public sectors, civil society, associations, non-governmental organizations, as well as members of the initiative, partners and participants of its governance.

CocoaAction Brasil, an initiative of the World Cocoa Foundation (WCF), works with the Brazilian cocoa chain since 2018 by promoting partnerships and connections, fostering dialogue, creating projects and collaborating for the sustainable development of the sector.
