Guidance on the Forest Positive Soy Roadmap

Version 1.0 Developed by the CGF Forest Positive Coalition of Action

This guidance document offers practical information on the execution of the Forest Positive Soy Roadmap from the Consumer Goods Forum (CGF) Forest Positive Coalition of Action. The document offers technical advice for businesses that are striving to source soy more responsibly and sustainably. The guidance is broken down into five elements:

1. Managing own supply chains
2. Engaging suppliers and traders
3. Monitoring and managing high-risk origins
4. Engaging in production landscapes
5. Increasing transparency and accountability

As part of element four ‘Engaging in Production Landscapes’ the guidance offers key actions, guidance on implementation as well as resources for companies looking to engage at this level. The key actions involve selecting which landscape initiatives to support, leveraging collective engagement and monitoring and reporting progress.

The guidance on the Forest Positive Soy Roadmap was developed by the Coalition’s Soy Working Group and in consultation with key stakeholders. It should be considered a ‘living document’ and will be updated as more progress is made by the Coalition.
