On December 12, 2025, the Agro Plus MA Program promoted the educational trip to the Sete Cidades National Park (PI) with students from the winning school of the Environmental Education Project “Erase this idea: burning is not a solution”, developed throughout 2025.

The main objective of the initiative was to sensitize young people from communities and public schools about the importance of environmental preservation and the adoption of sustainable practices, through lectures, educational dynamics and spaces for dialogue aimed at environmental awareness.

As a way of recognizing their performance in the project, the students of the Cecílio Rodrigues Teixeira Integrated Unit – Angical Pole were awarded a visit to the Sete Cidades National Park, living an experience that integrated learning, direct contact with nature and appreciation of the environmental and historical heritage.

During the activity, Jaqueline, a CDR representative who accompanied the trip, highlighted the relevance of the experience by stating that “it was incredible to get to know the rock formations, the cave paintings and the diversity of fauna and flora present in the conservation area, an experience that connects with history and reinforces the importance of protecting these spaces”.

The action was supported by IPAM and CDR, key partners for carrying out the activity and for strengthening the environmental education actions developed under the Agro Plus MA Program.
